Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of domiciliary care services by Dennyson Care to individuals who require home-based support. By engaging our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms shall have the following meanings:

  • “Terms” refers to the Terms and Conditions.
  • “Services” refers to the domiciliary care services provided by Dennyson Care.
  • “The Company”, “we”, “our” or “us” refers to Dennyson Care.
  • “Clients” or “you” refers to any individual who accesses the website.

3. Services Provided
Dennyson Care provides domiciliary care services to Clients who need assistance with activities of daily living, including but not limited to: personal care, medication management, companionship, household support, and other tailored services agreed upon in a care plan. The specific services will be outlined in the individual care plan provided to you or your designated representative.

4. Care Plan
Upon engaging our Services, we will create a care plan based on an assessment of your individual needs. The care plan will be reviewed regularly, and any changes or adjustments will be discussed with you and your family to ensure your needs continue to be met effectively.

5. Client Responsibilities
As a Client, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding your health and care needs.
  • Cooperate with our care staff and inform them of any changes to your condition or circumstances.
  • Ensure that our staff have access to the necessary facilities and equipment required to deliver the Services.
  • Treat our staff with respect and dignity at all times.

6. Fees and Payment
The fees for our Services will be agreed upon before the commencement of care. Our pricing structure will be detailed in your care agreement and may vary based on the level of care required. All fees must be paid in accordance with the payment terms outlined in the care agreement. We reserve the right to review and adjust our fees periodically, with reasonable notice provided to you.

7. Scheduling and Cancellations
You are required to provide reasonable notice if you wish to cancel or reschedule any scheduled care visits. A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for cancellations. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee. We will make every effort to meet your scheduling needs, but reserve the right to amend or cancel appointments where necessary due to exceptional circumstances.

8. Staffing and Substitution
Dennyson Care will assign qualified care staff to deliver the Services. However, in the event of sickness, unavailability, or other unforeseen circumstances, we may need to provide alternative staff. We will notify you as soon as possible in the event of any changes to your care team.

9. Confidentiality and Data Protection
Dennyson Care will maintain the confidentiality of all personal and health-related information provided by you. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Your personal information will only be used for the purpose of providing care services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

10. Health and Safety
Dennyson Care is committed to ensuring a safe environment for both Clients and care staff. You agree to provide a safe and secure environment in which the care can be delivered. You must inform us of any health and safety risks present in your home, including any hazards or special considerations that our staff need to be aware of.

11. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate the provision of Services by providing written notice. If the Services are no longer required, or if either party is dissatisfied with the care being provided, we will work to resolve any issues. If the issues cannot be resolved to mutual satisfaction, we reserve the right to end the care agreement with appropriate notice. In certain circumstances, we may terminate the Services immediately, including instances of abuse or severe non-cooperation.

12. Complaints and Feedback
We value feedback and are committed to providing high-quality care. If you have any concerns or complaints regarding the care you receive, please contact our office directly. We will investigate all complaints thoroughly and aim to resolve any issues promptly.

13. Liability
Dennyson Care is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from your failure to comply with the terms of the agreement, or from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to accidents, illness, or unforeseen events. We are committed to providing the highest standard of care and will endeavour to minimise any risks to our Clients.

14. Insurance
Dennyson Care holds the necessary insurance policies to provide domiciliary care services. Proof of our insurance coverage can be provided upon request.

15. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

16. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
Dennyson Care reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you in writing, and the updated terms will be applicable from the date of notification.
