Dementia is a general term for symptoms affecting memory, thinking, and communication. Alzheimer’s disease is the most common type of dementia, but there are other forms too.

Home care provides safety, daily assistance, companionship, and structured routines that help reduce confusion and anxiety, all while allowing the person to remain in familiar surroundings.

Our carers are trained in dementia care and offer personal care, medication support, meal preparation, emotional reassurance, and activities that stimulate memory and engagement.

We assess the home environment, create care plans to reduce risks, and provide carers who are experienced in handling wandering, forgetfulness, and behavioural changes with patience and care.

With the person’s agreement, families and those important to them can contribute to planning and reviewing their care. Their wishes, privacy and independence remain central.
